The Confederation of African Football says it has made arrangements for three Nigerian clubs to receive bonuses owed to them from continental tournaments in 2011.
Caf told BBC Sport that the money has left its bank account.
However, it seems the money has not yet filtered through to the three clubs - Enyimba, Sunshine Stars and Kaduna United.
According to the chairman of Kaduna United, Sabo Babayaro, whose side crashed out in the group phase of the 2011 Confederation Cup, the club have not heard from the continent's governing body.
"That's news to me. We have not heard from Caf or the Nigeria Football Federation concerning this payment," Babayaro told BBC Sport on Monday.
"No-one from the Caf headquarters requested our bank details, maybe they spoke with other clubs but they have not contacted Kaduna United."
